“Trip” is the result of generations and years worth of breeding and work.  Like his namesake, Outcast Houston’s Vision, he exhibits many of the same characteristics of his grandfather.  A high head and cracking tail makes him an eye-catcher.  His driven pursuit to find game is made easy by his light footed gait.

“Ricky” is an exciting up and coming male.  In his young career he has already started to accumulate numerous accolades.  In addition to many puppy and derby placements he was 2021/2022 Kentucky Open Puppy of The Year, and he won Runner-Up at the 2022 ABHA National Derby Classic.

Bill is one of the most naturally gifted dogs we have ever seen. He has an exceptional nose and absolutely elite ability to handle game.  His application was excellent at a very early age.  He pointed 4 coveys on his first walk on the prairie and we took a bird over each point while he stood perfectly. Bill never looked back. He pointed multiple species that first year including numerous ruffed grouse. He was even handling running birds well half-way into the first season.

Bill is an ideal physical specimen.  He is strong on the prairie and agile in the woods.  His greatest strength is his incredible manners on game.  He also has great style and biddability making him even more of a pleasure to hunt over.  Bill is a great companion too. He checks every box we could want in a stud dog.

Bud was registered Berg Brothers Big Easy because he was such a natural that everything came so easily. He handled birds exceptionally well at a very young age and adapted quickly to every type of wild bird situation. He also has beautiful on point. Big easy has been very consistent in terms of producing these traits in his offspring.

Bud’s dam (Hope) is a great bird dog from elite breeding. She is the product of a frozen semen breeding to champion Tekoa Mountain Patriot and Champion Berg’s Head Turner. Head Turner was a one in a thousand kind of female. She rated elite accros every trait by which we judge a bird dog, including disposition. Hope was a remarkably consistent producer and we are seeing the same tendencies in Bud’s offspring. They have been exceptional on wild birds at a very young age and very biddable.
